In my dealings with North Americans this year I have been asked this question a few times. “How big is Australia”?
Here’s a visual comparison with the map of Australia overlayed on the map of North America.
Size-wise we’re pretty comparable. Population-wise not so much.
- Australia polulation = 24.6 Million
- U.S.A. Population = 327.2 Million
- Canada Population = 37.59 Million
- Mexico population = 129.2 Million
