After having a discussion with Allison Bailes about heat loads, and having recently viewed Matt Risinger’s interview with Corbett Lunsford regarding the same topic, I decided to update my software by adding a pie chart to my heat load summary.
I’ve never been big on charts and graphs, but this new pie chart is having some impact when I show it to clients.
There’s nothing quite like a 48% slice of pie in the face to drill home the importance of air leakage.
Our NCC Target Permeability of 10m3/hr.m2 @ 50Pa (approx. 10ACH50) is quite a big hole. Probably worth paying some attention to that hole….
