Shepherds and wise men

As the year draws to a close I’d like to thank all the tradespeople who have helped, advised, and given me blunt truths this year as I have continued to develop my Gold Star building performance system.

I have found that having frank and robust conversations with those on the tools is a very rewarding exercise which leads to excellent outcomes.

Close to 2 ACH50 is a good result for ‘standard’ Australian construction. We can do this consistently. Just engage the trades and don’t forget to listen to them.

People in trade have an outcome based approach and can be very innovative when presented with a problem.

Academia can learn a lot from trade.

Remember, the shepherds got there before the wise men.

Merry Christmas.
